For healthy skin, hair, and nails add these nutritious foods to your meals or snacks! :D

BLUEBERRIES

Packed with antioxidants, #1 antioxidant food, which is great to prevent premature aging & increasing the bodies defense and circulation. They have a LOW glycemic index compared to other fruits.

WILD SALMON

Wild salmon, not farm-raised, are loaded with healthy omega-3 fatty acids to support protection from the sun and leave the skin supple and moist. Also, packed with Vitamin D for strong bones and teeth. There are so many ways to eat salmon, pick your favorite and enjoy! {Baked, grilled, saute, pan fried, etc}

SPINACH

Spinach contains lutein which is a carotenoid vitamin that enhances eye health. Lutein is best absorbed when consumed with a healthy high-fat meal. It is also packed with Vitamin B, C, E, potassium, calcium, iron, and magnesium. Consume raw in a salad or slightly saute to add as a side.

OYSTERS

One of the top known foods for having an aphrodisiac property, oysters, are also loaded with Zinc which is great for skin renewal and repair along with strong healthy hair, eyes, and nails.

TOMATOES

Contains lycopene which is fantastic for anti-aging and is better absorbed when carotene is present {which tomatoes also contain}. Cooking tomatoes is a great way to release lycopene to be absorbed by the body. Prepare in salsa, or a tasty Italian dish.

WALNUTS

Benefits of consuming walnuts include: smooth skin & hair, brighten eyes, strong bones, and loaded with Omega-3s and Vitamin E. Just a handful of walnuts is enough, you can add to a salad, or eat raw or slightly baked.

KIWI

The Vitamin C & antioxidant properties help increase firmness of skin, prevent wrinkles, strengthen teeth & bones, help prevent cancer & heart disease. A fun way to prepare is to make fruit Popsicles!

DARK CHOCOLATE {Ladies Best Friend}

Dark chocolate is great for skin hydration and help decrease sun damage. When looking for a dark chocolate be sure it contains flavanol and at least 60% cacao. Women, we can have our chocolate and eat it too! :D <3

YOGURT

One of my FAVORITE snacks is GREEK YOGURT, toasted coconut & vanilla. Along with the properties of live cultures to help with digestive issues, yogurt, is a great source of calcium and helps maintain posture, strong nails & teeth. Add granola or fruit in addition for a delicious snack.

SWEET POTATOES

Packed with beta-carotene is a prime property to decrease signs of aging. If you don't like them mashed, cute them in cubes or slices to make baked sweet potato fries.
